Sugar Johnson

Sugar Johnson is a Research and Administrative Coordinator with Collective Insight. She joined the team in 2020 as a Peer Evaluation Liaison for evaluation projects funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA). Sugar brings lived recovery experience and a peer voice to her current role, for which she coordinates survey data collection, data entry, and provides ongoing support to the grant’s continuous quality improvement process. In addition to her work on evaluation, Sugar also provides research and coordination support across projects as well as supporting central administrative functions for Collective Insight. Outside of CI, Sugar provides home-based personal care for an older adult receiving services through the Veterans Administration Aid & Attendant Program. Her favorite title is Mom and Grandma from the joy of her family, which includes two sons, two daughters, and two granddaughters. She enjoys time with her family making memories.
